This year, the Day of Prayer is hosted by the Christian women of Papua New Guinea. Their
theme for this year is, "In Christ there are many members, yet one body".
The women of the Fale Tolu, consisting of the Samoan Congregational Christian Churches of
Arlington, San Antonio and Ft. Hood gathered on Sunday, March 09 to celebrate this year's World Day of Prayer. The Ft.
Hood congregation has participated in this worldwide service for over 15 years. Two years ago, the church from San Antonio
joined and then last year, the women from Arlington were able to participate also. This year was the largest gathering
of this service ever. It is the hope and prayer of the Fale Tolu that this service will continue to be an inspiration
to all those that attend this service. May the Lord be praised in all we do for Him.
